Celebrating Easter !

As we are learning about festivals we decided to celebrate Easter before the proper holidays. This is how we did it:

PAINTING THE EGGS:
Every one of us brought a boiled egg and painted it. Dani, our arts teacher, decided on the winner egg. We had a picture of our egg so it was easy to know that the winner egg was Dounia's! Congratulations, Dounia!

As we already knew about the Easter traditions in English-speaking countries, we tried to celebrate Easter with an incredible Easter egg hunt: we enjoyed ourselves running looking for our own painted egg and for some of the treasures Lourdes hid in the playground.
We were trying really hard to find the golden egg, but instead all Gemma managed to get was some chocolates and an Easter bunny (which was for Dounia, who had the best painted egg).

Later on, we decided to use our painted egg for an Easter egg rolling, which was fantastic but all the eggs were destroyed into small pieces. Our winners this time were Eduard and Jussef Karroumi. They were both given a delicious chocolate croissant as a prize .
